Kimberly A. Justice is our Staff Technician and a Registered Veterinary Technician with the State of Ohio. With internships at The Ohio State University and The Ohio Wildlife Center, she earned her Applied Science Degree in Animal Health Technology from Columbus State Community College in 1999. Kim also took several Equine Science and Zoology courses at The Ohio State University.
Kim has had a love for animals all her life and started working at the local riding stable when she was just eleven years old. She started her veterinary career at the Sagamore Hills Animal Hospital back in 1989. After living in St. Louis and Columbus, Kim returned to SHAH in June 2002.
Currently Kim shares her home with her two collies, 'Keegan' and 'Kyla' from Almost Home Collie Rescue and her parrot, 'Everet'. She enjoys hiking with her dogs, and trail riding her horses either for pleasure or competition.
Kim's present duties reflect her skills and include venipuncture, monitoring anesthesia, assisting in surgery, taking radiographs and performing dental cleanings. She also provides critical care nursing and assists the veterinarians in the laboratory and pharmacy.
