Dennis A. Peters is a 1993 graduate of Nordonia High School. He attended Kent State University and joined the Sagamore Hills Animal Hospital (SHAH) staff in 1992, working part time while attending college. In 1993, he became a full-time member of the staff.
He helps maintain the building and grounds in addition to his other duties. He enjoys working with animals as well as interacting with the pet owners. Dennis resides on a farm where he enjoys caring for his two dogs, ‘Malcolm’ and ‘Mississippi’, one cat named ‘Tate’ and his domesticated mustang horse, named Lamont.
In April 2009, he enrolled in the AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program at Stautzenberger College branch campus in Brecksville, Ohio. In two years of attending night classes while continuing to work full time at SHAH, he has earned his Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology and is now a Registered Veterinary Technician.
